SPRING CARNIVAL MILLINERY CONCIERGE

*An exclusive service for guests of Sofitel Melbourne on Collins

Here's one less thing you need to worry about on your travels!

Our concierge service provides an easy and convenient way to look your best over Spring Carnival, without the hassle of travelling

with hat boxes.

  Terms & Conditions of Hire
 

  • Each hat/headpiece hired remains the property of TOOALI Millinery at all times
     

  • The hire fee will equate to 30% of the full purchase price of the hat/headpiece plus a $20 delivery and collection service fee
     

  • It is a condition of hire that a deposit equal to the full purchase price of the hat/headpiece is paid when making the booking. That way, should you enjoy the hat/headpiece and desire to retain it, then all you need do is advise TOOALI Millinery of your decision, and the piece is yours to keep!
     

  • Hats/headpieces are hired per occasion. Hire periods will typically last for three days. Delivery the day before your event, use on the day of your event, and collection the day after your event.   A longer hire period can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to the hat/headpiece not being required for another client booking

 

  • *As an exclusive service for house guests staying at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, all hat/headpieces hired from Tooali Millinery will be delivered to and collected from The Concierge at 
     

  • It is the hirer's responsibility to take good care of the hat/headpiece while it is in their possession.  All hats/headpieces will be fully inspected upon their return.  Should the hat/headpiece be returned damaged or marked in any way, TOOALI Millinery reserves the right to recoup any cost to repair damage.  Damage includes but is not limited to, any dents, holes, make-up stains and weather damage. 
    All hats/headpieces must also be protected from exposure to cigarette smoke, hair products and perfumes.  A fee will be deducted from the deposit refund for any minor repairs that are necessary.   If the hat/headpiece  is deemed unable to be repaired, then the full deposit  will be forfeited
     

  • Provided the hat/headpiece is returned in its original condition, TOOALI Millinery agrees to refund the balance of monies outlaid after deducting the hire fee and the delivery and collection fee
     

  • In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be provided if cancellation occurs 7 or more days prior to the hire date. Cancellations made within 2-6 days of the hire date will be subject to a 50% penalty of the hire fee.   Cancellations made within 2 days of the hire date will be subject to a 100% penalty of the hire fee. Outside of these cancellations fees all other deposit monies paid will be refunded
     

  • The late return of any item will be charged at a rate of $20.00 per day
     

  • Should a hat/headpiece become unavailable for any reason, TOOALI Millinery will endeavour to find a mutually suitable replacement noting that a similar style and colour may not always be available. In the event that the original hat/headpiece becomes unavailable, and a mutually suitable alternative is not agreed to, TOOALI Millinery will accept liability limited to the return of any deposit already paid.
